Franchise agreements: Increasing franchise fees during license transfers has become a standard practice for Wyndham. These transfers are always accompanied by a punch list on operating Super 8 locations. Many times these can be detrimental to a sale and have a significant impact on the owners. Most of our problems lie in the franchise agreements as the hotel owners have very little room to negotiate. The current franchise agreements are completely unfair and one sided to the franchisor's benefits. .
